FBI: Penetration by radical agents worse than thought

Infiltration of the federal government by members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood is worse than some have warned recently, says a former FBI special agent in Washington.

The agent confirmed that at least three operatives of the Egypt-based Brotherhood – whose credo is "Jihad is our way and death in the cause of Allah is our dream" – have penetrated the Obama administration.

The shocking charge was first leveled by Muslim reformer Tarek Fatah during a recent speech in Toronto.

"When someone says that there is penetration of jihadi Islamists within society, do not dismiss it as some right-wing, xenophobic, racist rant," warned Fatah, a Canadian journalist

"Today in the White House, there are three members of the Muslim Brotherhood that influence Obama's policy," he told the audience gathered for an IdeaCity conference. "One is Rashad Hassan, who is the American ambassador to the 52-nation Organization of Islamic (Conference)."

Fatah also named "Dalia Mogahed, who writes (Obama's) speeches, who comes from the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt; and another woman, an academic, (who) was appointed in that circle."

Former FBI special agent John Guandolo says Obama's ties to agents for the Muslim Brotherhood are even more extensive.

"The level of penetration in the last three administrations is deep," he said. "For this president, it even goes back to his campaign with Muslim Brotherhood folks working with him then."

Equally alarming, the Brotherhood also has placed several operatives and sympathizers within key positions in Homeland Security and the U.S. military, notes Guandolo, a former Marine Corps officer.

The veteran federal agent says such infiltration threatens national security, because the U.S. leadership of the international Brotherhood has outlined a secret plan to "destroy" the U.S. and other Western governments "from within."

After the 9/11 attacks, he says the FBI discovered the plan written in Arabic among documents seized from the basement of a prominent Brotherhood leader living in a Washington suburb.

Guandolo says the stated Muslim Brotherhood strategy for change "from within" includes the installation of loyal Brothers into political office.

President Obama's top Muslim ambassador, Rashad Hussain, has raised suspicions. He is U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, a powerful international group headquartered in Saudi Arabia and closely aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Before first joining the White House as a lawyer, Hussain regularly spoke to Brotherhood front groups and defended Brotherhood leaders like Sami al-Arian. Hussain at first denied defending the convicted terrorist, claiming he was misquoted, but then recanted after Politico.com produced a tape-recording of his remarks.

Recently, he has been overseas encouraging devotion to Islam, including in terror hotspots like Afghanistan.

In fact, Hussain has told Afghans the antidote to Islamic violence "is Islam itself."

"I am of the opinion that one of the strongest tools that you can use to counter radicalization and violent extremism is Islam itself, because Islam rejects violent extremism," he said during a recent speech in Kabul.

Hussain, a devout Muslim, says promotion of the Muslim faith is "key" to the administration's strategy to turn Muslims away from violence.

"We see that as one of the key elements of a strategy to address this type of violence," he said.

The strategy is at odds with what the co-chairmen of the 9/11 Commission recently recommended in their follow-up report on homegrown terror, "Assessing the Terrorist Threat: A Report of the Bipartisan Policy Center's National Security Preparedness Group."

The study found that Islam was motivating terrorists not just abroad, but inside America's Muslim community. And it scolded U.S. leaders for pretending religion is not a factor in growing violence.

Still, Hussain insists: "When it comes to the problem of violent extremism, Islam is not the problem."

Hussain helped draft Obama's conciliatory Cairo speech to Muslims. Also helping with the president's speeches and policies toward Muslims is Mogahed, whose pro-Islamist statements have been posted on the Muslim Brotherhood's website, ikhwanweb.com.

Obama appointed the hijab-wearing Mogahed to the President's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. On a British television program, Islam Channel, Mogahed defended Shariah law, the barbaric Islamic legal code that treats women as second-class citizens.

Muslim women actually "associate gender justice or justice for women with Shariah compliance," she argued. "It is 'only a small fraction' that associate Shariah with 'oppression of women.'"

She added that Muslims should work to integrate Islamic law into public law.

Another Brotherhood-tied figure influencing the White House is Azizah al-Hibri.

Obama this June appointed her to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. A Muslim professor, al-Hibri is also the granddaughter of a sheik, who claims the Saudi criminal justice system is more moral than the American one because it accepts blood money from murderers.

Al-Hibri herself has proclaimed: "Islamic fiqh (law) is deeper and better than Western codes of law."

She served on the advisory board of the American Muslim Council and made joint appearances with its leader Abdurahman Alamoudi. Now defunct, the AMC was a front group for the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood, and Alamoudi was the Brotherhood's top leader in America. He is now behind bars as one of al-Qaida's top fundraisers in America.

Al-Hibri has also made appearances at Islamic Society of North America conferences. The Justice Department says ISNA is a Brotherhood front and recently named the group an unindicted co-conspirator in a plot to provide material support to Hamas terrorists.

Guandolo identified several other Brotherhood-connected agents of influence – all of whom are just as politically savvy and moderate sounding – who have worked their way into government positions, including:

• Arif Alikhan, who was assistant Homeland Security secretary for policy development and is now a distinguished visiting professor of homeland security and counterterrorism at the National Defense University.
  
  
• Syrian-born Kareem Shora, who is Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano's senior policy adviser.
  
  
• Navy Cmdr. Youssef Aboul-Enein and Jocelyne Cesari, a Muslim convert who previously worked with Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, both of whom teach at colleges within the National Defense University.

Guandolo blames the advances Brotherhood figures on political correctness and lax vetting at government agencies.

Even at the FBI, he notes, an Iranian-born Muslim has taken over the agency's weapons of mass destruction program.

Stung by workplace discrimination lawsuits by Arab and Muslim employees, the FBI has come under pressure to hire more Arab and Muslim agents and language specialists and promote existing ones, while clearing them for higher security levels, according the best-selling book "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That's Conspiring to Islamize America."

The book cites internal FBI records showing the agency has been sued by no fewer than 14 Arab and Muslim employees since 9/11. Some of the lawsuits have been solicited or aided by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, another Muslim Brotherhood front group. The FBI in 2008 cut off formal outreach with CAIR and its branch offices.

"This is happening as we remain silent. And I say that as a liberal Democrat who worked and campaigned for Barack Obama," said Fatah, a Pakistan-born journalist and activist who founded the moderate Muslim Canadian Congress to fight the spread of "Islamofascism."

"Muslim Mafia" also has prompted a lawsuit from CAIR over the acquisition by the authors of CAIR documents.

In the lawsuit, CAIR, a self-described Muslim civil-rights group, does not defend itself against the book's claims, and the FBI has seized the CAIR material from the Washington law office of one of the attorneys for the authors. A previous filing in the case revealed a federal grand jury is investigating CAIR for possible violation of laws that ban financial dealings with terrorist groups or countries under U.S. sanctions.

As WND reported, CAIR's complaint seeks to expunge all copies of "Muslim Mafia" in an attempt, according to defense lawyers, to eliminate evidence that could lead to criminal prosecution.

U.S. news agencies do not have the safety and security of the American people as a prime concern in their reporting, and they are actively and deliberately promoting a toxic enemy, warns the author of a brand-new book.

"Beware, America," says Pamela Geller, author of "Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance." 

"The media are now working on preaching Islam, spreading the historically inaccurate whitewash of Islam. That is how they are using their considerable power to disarm the American people against a mortal enemy that seeks our destruction. They ask, why are we fighting? That is the role the media have chosen and it's no accident."

Geller, who publishes the popular AtlasShrugs.com and has been erroneously labeled by the leftist Salon.com as "a right-wing, viciously anti-Muslim, conspiracy-mongering blogger," opens her book with a righteous onslaught against the biggest news companies in the nation for their abject failure to properly and fairly cover events such as the controversy over what has become known as the "Ground Zero mosque" at the site of the 9/11 terrorist attack in New York City.

"The mosque story has been a game-changer," writes Geller, noting outrage over the attempt by Islamic supremacists to erect a triumphal mosque upon the sacred site of the attack on the World Trade Center towers has awakened the American populace to what's really taking place.

"In early December of 2009, the New York Times – on its front page – heralded the arrival of a 15-story mega-mosque going up at Ground Zero. It was shocking. I don't know what was more grotesque: the jihadists' triumphal mosque, or the New York Times' preening of it."

Geller says news agencies consistently ignored the fact the vast majority of Americans opposed the structure.

"Americans didn't want a victory mosque marking the site of the 9/11 attacks. They didn't want an insult to the 3,000 Americans who were murdered there by Islamic jihadists and for whom Ground Zero is a cemetery."

"From the media's perspective, the Ground Zero mosque was an historical phenomenon," she continued. "For the first time, a major news story became the most important national and international news story without the media. Think about that. The Ground Zero mosque was not shaped by the media, not covered by the media – not at first anyway. The media scrambled to cover the story. They had no narrative, at first. They would put me on and let me speak. Of course, they always had some Islamic supremacist liar on to destroy me, but they never could. And despite all the handicaps, I had the opportunity to present America with concretes on Islam."

Geller provides a laundry list of interviews she did with some of the biggest names in the news business, including "a nasty Bill O'Reilly" of Fox News "who had to have me on to refute a virtual fatwa, an incitement to violence that Nihad Awad of CAIR had issued on my head on his show the night before."

She says CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" show went so far as to do a whole segment accusing her of personally ginning up the Ground Zero mosque controversy, saying if it hadn't been for Geller, there would have been no issue.

"Talk about condescending to the American people," she writes.

"Each TV segment was like a short bout in the boxing ring. Every jab, every insult, every lie only strengthened my resolve. Every attack fine-tuned my argument. This is the approach you should adopt too. Never get discouraged. Take every experience, good, bad, or worse, and learn from it. It makes you stronger and smarter. Learn the enemy's strategy – beat him at his own nefarious game. It certainly toughened me up to the rough-and-tumble of this kind of fight. You have to get used to it and you have to expect it. It will sharpen your abilities and your defense of freedom. It is not to be feared, but sought."

Geller says in the immediate aftermath of Sept. 11, 2001, the news media didn't have their story straight, being collectively surprised and not ready for the act of war against America.

"But they dusted the human remains off their jackets and began to shape a suicide narrative. We have gone so far down the rabbit hole, 9/11 images are embargoed and not shown. They are dusted off but once a year and then secreted back into the vault of things the media won't talk about."

Geller says she became personally blacklisted from appearances on major networks.

"The dirty smear merchants over at Media [anti]Matters understood what was happening and issued a directive to the leftwing lemmings: 'do not have Geller on national television.' The very same day that Goebbels-inspired post ran, Chris Matthews canceled my TV appearance for that evening. And the media, both left and right, have generally followed suit. They will only have me on if they have no choice. If I make news vis-a-vis a lawsuit or rally or some other newsmaking event and they are forced to, they do so reluctantly. If they can get my lawyer instead, they will because they have become so fearful of the truth."

As the mosque controversy continued to burn, Geller says the media hoped the "opposition would just melt away" (to quote Matt Lauer in his puff piece on thug Ground Zero mosque developer [Sharif] El-Gamal)."

She explains the alphabet networks avoided coverage for as long as they could without looking completely out of touch.

"The media operate under the narcissistic assumption that if they don't report it, it didn't happen. The Ground Zero mosque story has shattered this fundamental belief of theirs."

"And when they finally weighed in," she writes, " the heavyweights like '60 Minutes' shilled for Islamic supremacists, and consequently came under enormous fire from the American people, the blogs, and talk radio."

But Geller says an episode of ABC's "20/20" was a turning point.

"They found their card, the dawah card," says Geller. "Dawah is Islamic proselytizing, and the media decided to proselytize for Islam. Dhimmi Diane Sawyer's show on Islam was a horrible lie. Overwhelmingly terrible. I don't imagine that even Hamas-linked CAIR would have dared to write such a fallacious and dangerous script filled with obvious lies.

"ABC followed up the propaganda hour with Sunday morning's notorious stealth jihadist, Christiane Amanpour, whose obvious Jew-hatred and predilection for submission has become the hallmark of her embarrassing career. She did not disappoint. Amanpour framed and packaged this hot-button issue for Al-Jazeera audiences, not American ones. But America wasn't buying– Amanpour was bombing, dead last. A very great sign of things to come."

'Court is not to conduct detailed inquiry to decide whether it agrees with agency'

A federal judge has ordered that whether Google is spying for National Security Agency or not, you have no right to know.   "The NSA need not disclose 'the organization or any function of the National Security Agency, [or] any information with respect to the activities thereof,'" U.S. District Judged Richard Leon has ordered.

"Once the agency, through affidavits, has created 'as complete a public record as is possible' and explained 'in as much detail as is possible the basis for its claim,' … 'the court is not to conduct a detailed inquiry to decide whether it agrees with the agency's opinions,'" he said.

The demand for information had been raised by the Electronic Privacy Information Center, which said the ruling would be appealed.

"EPIC had sought documents under the FOIA because such an agreement [between Google and NSA] could reveal that the NSA is developing technical standards that would enable greater surveillance of Internet users," the organization explained.

"The [response] to neither confirm nor deny is a controversial legal doctrine that allows agencies to conceal the existence of records that might otherwise be subject to public disclosure," the group said. "EPIC plans to appeal this decision."

The court opinion came as a result of a situation in which a Chinese hacking incident in January 2010 raised questions.

The group had wanted information about "arrangements with Google on cybersecurity, as well as records regarding the agency's role in setting security standards for Gmail and other web-based applications."

The organization explained that it was on Jan. 12, 2010, when Google said hackers from China had attacked Google's corporate infrastructure. The company had said evidence suggested "that a primary goal of the attackers was accessing the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists."

The press then reported Google and the NSA "had entered into a 'partnership' to help analyze the attack by permitting them to 'share critical information,'" EPIC reported. Those reports came from the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal and others.

EPIC was seeking records on any agreement between NSA and Google, communications between the groups and others. NSA denied the request even though Pamela Phillips of the NSA admitted the organization was working "with a broad range of commercial partners and research associates."

But the agency refused to release further information, "explaining that any response would improperly reveal information about NSA's functions and activities," the judge said.

The agency said, "To confirm or deny the existence of any such records would be to reveal whether the NSA … determined that vulnerabilities or cybersecurity issues pertaining to Google or certain of its commercial technologies could make U.S. government information systems susceptible to exploitation or attack.'

According to the judge, the agency said "even an acknowledgment of a relationship between the NSA and a commercial entity could potentially alert 'adversaries to NSA priorities, threat assessment, or countermeasures."

According to Courthouse News, the Washington federal judge's decision was to grant the NSA's request for a summary judgment dismissing the case.

A missile failure could result from defective products from China

Sources have confirmed that the U.S. Department of Defense over recent months purchased 59,000 microchips to use in Navy equipment that control everything from missiles to transponders, according to report in Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.

But all of the chips turned out to be cheap knock-offs from China, and they ultimately were not installed, according to sources.

Besides being subject to failure, the chips also were designed with a "back door" which would have allowed the chip, and the device it controlled, to be shut down remotely at any time, sources report.

Had the flaw not been detected, the chips could have shut down U.S. warships, aircraft, advanced weapons systems and encoded transponders that distinguish friendly aircraft from hostile attackers.

The revelation is only the latest in a series of incidents that have sent off alarm bells in the Pentagon. China previously was found to have been actively pursuing placing back doors in computer equipment. Several cases have been uncovered in which Internet-capable devices have had Chinese chips in them which also provided a back door into the networks the devices were supposed to protect. The devices were attached not only to industrial and commercial networks but also to networks that were defined as part of the nation's "critical infrastructure."

The problem is not unique to the U.S.

A Feb. 3, 2010, G2 Bulletin article outlined how Britain's MI5 accused cyber intelligence agents in China of attacking U.K. businesses with the goal of gaining commercial intelligence. A leaked MI5 document said undercover intelligence officers from the People's Liberation Army and the Ministry of Public Security approached U.K. businessmen at trade fairs and exhibitions with the offers of cameras and memory sticks.

But the "gifts" were found to contain back doors that provide the Chinese with remote access to the business computers.

In February 2005 the U.S. Department of Defense issued a report titled, "High Performance Microchip Supply." There, the Defense Science Board Task Force stated:=

"It is clear from recent trends in the microelectronics industry that a significant migration of critical microelectronics manufacturing from the United States to other foreign countries has and will continue to occur. The rate of this technology migration is alarming because of the strategic significance this technology has on the U.S. economy and the ability of the United States to maintain a technological advantage in the Department of Defense (DoD), government, commercial and industrial sectors. Our greatest concern lies in microelectronics supplies for defense, national infrastructure and intelligence applications."

The report goes on to state that there is increasing pressure on microchip or "integrated circuit" (IC) suppliers to outsource their manufacturing operations offshore to lower cost. The report concludes that this move is "contrary to the best interests of the Department of Defense." The report states that these foreign chips open the possibility for backdoors or "Trojan horses" to be embedded into the microchips used for military applications.

From a security standpoint, it would be much safer for the military to use commercial off the shelf components for their applications, since the supplier would not know the ultimate purchaser. But this is not practical because of the requirements the military places on the purchasing process. The requirements are so stringent that the microchips have very few commercial applications. Many times a supplier can look at the purchase order and determine that the chips will be used for military applications.

The Defense Department report concludes that their suppliers face a major microchip supply problem that "threatens the security and integrity of classified and sensitive circuit design information … and the correct functioning of electronic systems."

In an allegation that pushes the dispute over Barack Obama's presidential eligibility to a new level, an affidavit prepared to accompany a criminal complaint over the "Certificate of Live Birth" released April 27 suggests there was a plan to mislead the American public, and it went as high as the Oval Office.

"What I believe you are looking at is a classic example of an attempt at plausible deniability," wrote Doug Vogt, who has filed a criminal complaint that charges Obama's birth record is forged.

Vogt, who describes himself as an expert in documents, typesetting, imaging, scanners and document imaging programs and has owned Archive Index Systems since 1993, referenced the widely broadcast White House event when officials, including then-White House Counsel Robert Bauer and Obama's communications director Daniel Pfeiffer, released the purported Hawaiian "Certificate of Live Birth."

"Everything that came out of the mouths of both these men and the president's was carefully orchestrated and scripted. It also implies that the president's contingency plan was that in case the forgery was detected, that one or both of them would take the blame," Vogt concluded.

He said in the affidavit, a copy of which was obtained by WND, "The preponderance of evidence leads me to conclude that the Certificate of Live Birth the White House presented at the 8:48 a.m. news conference (on April 27) and not mentioned on television an hour later is a forgery."

He continued, "A strong legal argument can be made that per U.S. Code Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 47, Sec.1028(a)(2 and 4) Mr. Pfeiffer and Mr. Robert Bauer could have made themselves principles in the forgery. There is also the possibility that the director of the Department of Health in Hawaii knows much more about this forgery than she is telling. If it is later proven in federal court that this Certificate of Live Birth issued by the Department of Health is a forgery, then any and all personnel involved with the forgery, would also be principles in the forgery.

"I am sure that there is someone at the Department of Health who searched their document imaging system to find the certificates that became the elements used to assemble the final Obama fraudulent Certificate. An FBI investigation in Hawaii will be necessary to get to the whole truth of this scandal," he said.

Obama is tied in to the plot, Vogt contends, through his speech shortly after the Hawaii document was released, in which he referenced "the old history of the Short Form certification" and then said, "We've posted the Certification that is given by the State of Hawaii on the Internet for everybody to see."

The president didn't reference the newly released "Certificate of Live Birth" unveiled at the news conference,  Vogt writes, in his address that day.

What the White House released:

"Let me ask you a simple question," Vogt writes, "let's say you live in New York, and you were born in California and you want two copies of your Certificate of Live Birth, not because you need it for a passport application or any other legal reason, but just because you want to show it to some friends. So you pay your high priced lawyer to fly on a moment's notice to California and back again with your Certificate. This whole process has cost you thousands. Are you going to want to see it and take possession of at least one of the Certificates? The obvious answer is YES. Next, read the answer given by Mr. Pfeiffer and Robert Bauer from the 8:48 a.m. news conference":

Question: And this is going to sound …. I mean, you can just anticipate what people are going to …. remain unconvinced. They're going to say that this is just a photocopy of a piece of paper, you could have typed anything in there. Will the actual certificate be on display or viewable at any …. (laughter.)

Will the president be holding it?

MR. PFEIFFER: He will not, and I will not leave it here for him to do so. But it will …. the State Department of Health in Hawaii will obviously attest that that is a …. what they have on file. As Bob said, it's in a book in Hawaii.

MR. BAUER: And you'll see the letter from the director of the Health Department that states that she oversaw the copy and is attesting to ….

"Plausible deniability refers to the denial of blame in loose and informal chains of command where upper leadership quarantine the blame to the lower management, and the lower management are often inaccessible, meaning confirming responsibility for the action is nearly impossible," Vogt said. "In the case that illegal or otherwise disreputable and unpopular activities become public, high-ranking officials may deny any awareness of such act or any connection to the agents used to carry out such acts. This method was used in the Nixon administration during the Watergate scandal to protect the president – it did not work then."

Case of fraud advances

Jerome Corsi, Ph.D., the author of "Where's The Birth Certificate," said Vogt "continues to advance the case that the Obama birth certificate was fraudulently contrived in an attempt to deflect the news cycle from the issues I raised in 'Where's the Birth Certificate?' – a book that was set to crush Obama on the eligibility issue, unless Obama responded."

Plans to make the Obama document public were being made just as Corsi's book reached No. 1 on Amazon, weeks ahead of the book's release.

"Unfortunately, rather than tell the truth, the White House rushed to get a forged document into the waiting hands of a compliant and loving mainstream media," Corsi said. "Rather than establish a chain of evidence that would establish the PDF file released on the White House website as legitimate, the Obama administration and the Hawaii DOH continued their dance, pretending it was impossible to release a long-form birth certificate."

Corsi said Vogt's analysis "shows not only that the Hawaii DOH remains complicit with the Obama White House in advancing the fraud that Obama was born in Hawaii, but also shows the cover-up is continuing."

"The public must now demand to see the 'best evidence' of the Obama birth certificate – namely, the document itself," he said.

Vogt's affidavit describes several specific concerns, including alleged anomalies in the image released to the public, Obama's dispatching of an attorney to travel to Hawaii for such a document and the careful language that was used to describe its acquistion.

What 'waiver'?

Vogt cited Bauer's statement that, "Early last week the decision was made to review the legal basis for seeking a waiver from the long-standing prohibition in the state Department of Health on releasing the long-form birth certificate. And so we undertook a legal analysis and determined a waiver request could be made, that we had the grounds upon which to make that request."

The affidavit describes how Obama's private attorney, Judy Corley of the law firm of Perkins Coie, was dispatched to travel to Hawaii to retrieve the document.

Continued Bauer, "The department, as I understood it, after reviewing the law and reviewing the grounds asserted in the request, came to the conclusion that a waiver could be appropriately granted. We were advised that the long-form birth certificate could be copied and made available to us as early as Monday, April 25th – the day before yesterday. And we made arrangements for counsel to travel to Honolulu to pick it up and it was returned to the White House yesterday afternoon."

But Vogt notes Hawaii law requires, "Subject to the requirements of sections 338-16, 338-17, and 338-18, the Department of Health shall, upon request, furnish to any applicant a certified copy of any certificate."

"The law clearly states 'shall,' that does not mean maybe or 'out of the goodness of their hearts.' It means the Health Department must issue a copy of the Certificate of Live Birth not the Certification if requested. The Hawaiian law has a list of who can receive the Certificate and they include over 20 individuals, as well as government agencies."

He wrote that Loretta Fuddy, the chief of the health department, had announced an "exception" to departmental policy, even though other long-form certificates had been made available to others only weeks before Obama's request.

Which document?

Several forms of the birth document were distributed, including copied images handed out to reporters, the online image and an image taken by a selected reporter who was allowed to see the White House copy.

Vogt says the evidence indicates the "original" copy at the White House may have been a descendant of the online image, not the other way around.

He says the image distributed to media has the previously reported  registrar's rubber stamp anomaly, with "TXE" instead of "THE." The reporter's image is from Savannah Guthrie of NBC, who was allowed to see one of the White House copies that arrived from Hawaii.

"She claims she touched it and felt the raised seal, or what looks like a seal. This was important to Robert Bauer and company because the copy they showed the news people did not show any embossed seal. So the White House handlers felt it necessary to have at least one reporter, they could trust, see and feel the Certificate. She was also permitted to take a photo of the Certificate, which we will assume was done by her camera phone, because the quality was not very good," Vogt explained.

The top image is from the Guthrie image, the bottom of from what was given to reporters. Both appear to have the "TXE" error.

Bottom image is from another document just a few weeks earlier that does not have the "TXE" error embedded.

Vogt notes several discrepancies, including an "italicized E" under the "A" in Alvin in the image given to reporters that appears not to be present in Guthrie's image. He concedes, however, it could be explained by the low-resolution of the latter image.

He notes that the PDF image that was uploaded from the White House, which reportedly was scanned from a hard copy, reveals it was created April 27 on a Mac computer.

"On the PDF file the italics "E" under the "A" in Alvin also shows up clearly. … That would mean that [the image given reporters and the PDF file] have a common origin.

"The most logical conclusion is that [the image given to reporters and the image from Guthrie] were produced from the same file, namely the PDF file. … The only way to know for sure would be to have the White House place both certificates next to each other and photograph or scan them."

Exactly the same

Further, he said, "What is interesting about these three images of the registrar's seal and the date stamp just to the left of it, is that all are in the exact same position to the hundredths of an inch and I mean both horizontally and vertically to the above form. So you have two certificates [the copies the White House says came from Hawaii] with two hand applied rubber stamps on the bottom and a hand placed embossed seal applied by a machine and all three are in the exact same position. It is impossible to put two forms next to each other and hand stamp them as shown and get all in exactly the same position, along with being placed almost perfectly straight on the two forms. This could only be done with a graphics program like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Keep in mind the clerk or registrar has no reason or preference requirement to place these stamps in exactly the same position."

Vogt said, "The preponderance of evidence leads me to conclude that the Certificate of Live Birth, the White House presented at the 8:48 a.m. news conference and not mentioned on television an hour later, is a forgery."

Corsi said it's mostly likely that "there is no long-form birth certificate in the Hawaii DOH vault, or if there is one, it is a mere print-out of the PDF file."

"Very likely the PDF file is the 'best evidence' of the document, especially if all the paper documents of the Obama long-form birth certificate derive from that electronic file," Corsi said.

"Soon the American public will have compelling expert testimony that the Obama birth certificate was electronically manufactured and electronically modified – using as templates various authentic birth certificates, including the Nordyke twins' birth certificates," he said. "This crude forgery will not survive genuine forensic expert examination – but the White House will continue lying – and showing the one copy with the 'seal' only to a trusted press photographer that the White House knew would not ask any critical questions."

Custody

Vogt also pointed to the chain of custody for the physical documents that the White House said it got from the state of Hawaii, brought to Washington Obama's attorney and then handed over to the White House. But unknown is who created the online image that many experts believe shows evidence of manipulation.

Corsi points out that the government's own guidelines for accepting the authenticity of an electronic document features a long list of conditions.

The Government Printing Office "will inform users about a publication's integrity and chain of custody through the designation of at least 2 different levels of authentication, 'authentic' and 'official.' GPO defines 'authentic' as content that is verified by GPO to be complete and unaltered when compared to the version received by GPO. 'Official' content is content that is approved by, contributed by, or harvested from an official source in accordance with accepted program specifications," the government outlines.

Such provenance has yet to be offered regarding the White House document, he explains.

When the White House released Obama's document in April, officials with the Hawaii Department of Health and the office of Gov. Neal Abercrombie declined to respond to WND requests for a simple confirmation that the image released in Washington was an accurate representation of the information in the state's files.

A man portrayed as a prominent Islamic scholar who has run a program to vet Muslim chaplains for the U.S. military has written an anti-Semitic column that condemns Jews for trying to make the rest of the world "subvervient" and explaining that he is able to see this "trickery" because of his understanding of the Quran, according to a translation.

The work is by Taha Jaber al-Alwani, who graduated from al-Azhar University in Cairo and later taught at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University in Saudi Arabia.

He moved to the United States in 1983 and has served as chairman of the Fiqh Council of North America and as part of the Islamic Cordova University and its Graduate School of Islamic and Society Sciences program, through which Muslims who want to be chaplains in the U.S. military are accredited.

He decried the "Great Haughtiness" of the Jews and accused them of using "an intellectual, psychological and mental ability, which they can employ with great efficiency to take advantage of real and objective situations … in accordance to their specific visions and goals in a meticulous fashion."

"We can express from the Glorious Quran and say that this is an ability to employ legal practices, social and cosmic laws and even individual trends as well to make others subservient in their hands in order to fulfill their goals. There is hardly any doubt that the Arabs own several folds in material resources than others, but they do not own this sense that we just mentioned," he wrote.

"The ancient Hebraic education, or what may be termed 'the jurisprudence of the cow' (termed for the cow [in Sinai]) that is; the thought and jurisprudence of the 'ox that bellows' really suits its ability to find exit holes as it is accustomed to trickery. Also suits it is its ability to 'endlessly pant and persist,'" al-Alwani wrote. "These things and many other things, which we find in the Torah, the Talmud and the Mishna and other religious sources from their religion which many modern thinkers see as an 'extinct national dream.'

"But I, through the light of the Quran see it resurrected in front of me; it still represents the central pillars for their education. Those who were led astray by a golden calf that is empty inside which only has its exterior golden brilliance with it bellowing in the wind at empty bodies," he wrote.

The writings were uncovered by Walid Shoebat, who describes himself on his own website as one who "used to be a radicalized Muslim willing to die for the cause of jihad."

Shoebat tells how he converted to Christianity in 1994 after he was a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization "involved in terror activity."

Shoebat writes how he was recruited by the Islamic Association of Palestine, "a forerunner to today's Hamas terror organization and also to the terror front group CAIR (Council for American Islamic Relations)."

He told WND that as a former "insider" to the terror campaign that includes Israel as a target, he knows what to watch for. He found the writings, in Arabic, on al-Alwani's own website, where it was reported they also were published by the Islamic Umma Magazine.

The article, titled "The Great Haughtiness," was translated by Shoebat.

WND messages left at Cordoba University and at the Fiqh Council trying to reach al-Alwani for comment were not returned.

"Al-Alwani has compared America to the golden age of al-Andalus in Spain and has told Muslims in the mosques he visited that America is the best country in the world to live," said Shoebat. "He was even a signatory of the Muslim Statement Against Terror and even issued a fatwa (after consulting with Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi of course) urging Muslims to fight in the U.S. military in Afghanistan against terrorism. Qaradawi later reneged on his fatwa.

"But besides these glowing positions and seemingly acts of heroism, Alwani turns out to be an ardent anti-Semite. How could the U.S. military still employ this influential figurehead should not remain a mystery, especially after one runs into his writings – in Arabic, of course, which Alwani should not mind us translating and publishing it in full since he shouldn't mind us 'spreading the word!" Shoebat said.

Al-Alwani wrote, "Allah, Mighty and Exalted is He who is all knowing when it comes to his creation and their willingness to do good or evil; told us that, 'the children of Israel will do corruption in the land twice.' That is, two grand events since they have done mischief twice already in the past and many more after that. It is for this reason Allah said 'But if you return [to sin], We [Allah] will return [for punishment].'"

He continued, "So the Zionist leaders made this calf a model for today’s world so they can be able to control it. Today's world with its secularism and its phony democracy and alongside its free and controlled trade and national legitimacy and all these other subjects that bellows and never dialogues; all this is not far fetched to be an image of a calf that moos with an outward appearance that is beautiful, breathtaking and shiny that almost takes your breath away."

According to the translation, he wrote, "So the giant media takes on the part of mooing and bellowing that never ends which has an ability to transform humans into animals that the media consumes its energy. It [the media] empties him and fills him with whatever it wants. The nations were transformed under the shade of this calf-like image into herds composed of individuals that are unable to build relationships or identities.

"They [the Jews] were able to convert a negative incident [the Holocaust], which ended them up in a collective apostasy; to a model, which enabled them to make strategies, institutions and plans to ensure that the world – the whole world – remain beneath them."

Al-Alwani said Muslims need to get to the point of "imposing ourselves to be respected by the whole world."

"Only then will we be able to have a dialogue on an equal footage and not through all the bellowing," he wrote.

The Pentagon said it would be able to respond to WND inquiries about al-Alwani's links to accrediting Muslim chaplains next week.

According to Cordoba University, Al-Alwani serves as president and is active in publishing, authoring "The Contemporary Islamic Cultural Undertaking," "Horizons of Change and its Approaches," "The Islamization of Knowledge" and others.

According to a report from ABC, al-Alwani has been president of GSISS, which has been responsible for providing accreditation to Muslims who are chaplains in the military.

The report also noted that the GSISS "have been part of a federal investigation into possible financial ties to al-Qaida."

Shoebat told WND the writings reveal "an extremely dark soul" and Americans should be alarmed he would be in the loop of training or supervising of any military chaplains.

"This is how you get more Nidal Malik Hasans," he said, referencing the military officer who now is in jail, accused of shooting and killing some dozen fellow military members at Fort Hood in Texas. He's also accused of attempting to kill dozens more.

Evidence indicates Hasan is a devout Muslim.

At the Anti-Cair-Net organization, a report said the GSISS graduated its first class in 1999.

"The school is the first of its kind. It is the only school approved by the United States Department of Defense to both train and endorse U.S. Muslim military chaplains," the report said.

On Amazon.com, where al-Alwani sells his publications, he's described as "member of the Organization of Islamic States Fiqh Academy and former president of The International Institute of Islamic Thought."

His commentary continued, "So what can we do, and especially those of us who sit in positions of control over our great battle as we live alongside this calf? How can we first study deeply their psyche and minds? And how to know their inherited education with its influence as they manage the conflict with the rest of the nations on the earth? When will the Muslims get out of being a useless reeling multitude to gain the position of imposing ourselves to be respected by the whole world and to employ their [the Muslim] great abilities for benefiting this struggle with others? Only then will we be able to have dialogue on an equal footage and not through all the bellowing."

Prez 'painted himself into corner with an issue he can never escape'

For two years, until the latest sign went up this spring, a campaign that posted "Where's The Birth Certificate?" billboards near Washington, on the freeways of Los Angeles, along the Gulf Coast while President Obama was vacationing there and dozens of other places, demanded the documentation for a president whose eligibility to hold the office remains unproven.

The sign is along Route 15 northbound, two miles south of Dillsburg for Harrisburg-bound traffic, some 10 miles south of the Pennsylvania Capital City beltway, Route 581, officials announced. Jump aboard the campaign that is aimed at, finally, uncovering the truth about Obama's history and eligibility, now through the WND Superstore!

Then Barack Obama held a White House news conference to release what he said was a copy of a copy of his original documentation in Hawaii, and his staff members announced it was "proof positive" of a Hawaiian birth for Obama.

But now that the image has been reviewed and examined by experts, a new billboard campaign is being launched, demanding, "Where's The Real Birth Certificate?"

Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND as well as the originator behind both billboard campaigns, said, "If Barack Obama thinks he ended the controversy of his eligibility by releasing a demonstrably fake birth certificate, he’s got another thing coming."

He continued, "Instead, he has considerably raised the stakes. What's that old saying? 'The cover-up is worse than the crime.' By releasing, in desperation, a bogus document to the American people, Obama has painted himself into a corner with an issue he can never escape."

That the document is fraudulent and has been manipulated has been documented by a long list of document, computer and imaging experts.

"This is not only a fake document, it is an obvious fake document," warned Mara Zebest, an author and contributor to literally dozens of books on computers and software.

"My guess is that the creator of this document was inexperienced when it comes to a multitude of concepts in using Adobe software," she said. "Whoever forged the Obama birth certificate might have known enough to be dangerous, but not enough to know how to cover their tracks."

Zebest's comments have been backed up by a long list of other experts, and, strangely, there's been only one expert who has attested to the idea that it is genuine. He later, however, told WND that he had been misquoted in the report on the issue and the Fox network had refused to correct it.

Additionally, when the Obama document was released, WND contacted state officials in Hawaii to confirm that the image released was an accurate representation of the state's original records, and they refused to do so.

The actual original document has yet to be seen by anyone as the state of Hawaii continues to conceal whatever the archives hold. What was released by the White House is an image of the copy that Obama had his private attorney fetch from Hawaii:

Farah said the original billboard campaign put the question on the front burner of American politics, and he said the revised version will keep it in front of the public as the 2012 election develops.

"There are so many questions about the document Barack Obama released," explained Farah. "They run the gamut from layering found in what he claims is his long-form birth certificate to the fact that it doesn't reflect an adoption by his stepfather that Obama himself asserts actually took place. We're talking about dozens and dozens of problems with a document no one else in the media or the Washington political establishment dares to question. That's why this campaign, going over the heads of the media, is so vitally necessary. It worked once before. It will work again."

The earlier billboards, which named no names, cited no political affiliation, didn't sell anything and didn't ask readers to do anything, appeared in Arizona, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Kansas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas and West Virginia among other states.

The first campaign caused so much alarm that it's been censored by five outdoor advertising companies, but Farah said many locations remain available, and the postings depend only on the finances available.

He believes the billboards have contributed significantly to the sweeping skepticism Americans have regarding Obama's constitutional eligibility for office, as shown in poll after poll.

The most recent, a WND Wenzel Poll, produced just days ago revealed that fully half of Americans want Congress to investigate Obama's eligibility – including 28 percent of the self-identified Democrats.

"There's no marginalizing those who want this matter investigated by Congress," said pollster Fritz Wenzel.

"If Barack Obama thought that by releasing an electronic version of what the White House said was his long form birth certificate, the question of his eligibility to serve as president would be settled once and for all, he was badly mistaken. My latest polling shows that only a bare majority of 51 percent believe the release of his birth certificate proves he is eligible to serve, and now, half of adults nationwide want a congressional inquiry into his eligibility to serve," he continued.

"This reflects a deep distrust of the White House on this question. More telling is that 57 percent in this national telephone survey were either greatly or somewhat troubled by assertions that the electronic birth certificate appears to have been either forged or tampered with. Another 38 percent said they were not troubled at all by such assertions," Wenzel said.

"There are many reasons this eligibility question has taken on a life of its own, but that only half the country believes that the president has proven he deserves to hold the office reveals a deeply held belief that he is somehow trying to trick the country. This sense of distrust underlies public perception of everything Obama does and says, which means that, as he begins to build a re-election campaign, it is going to be increasingly difficult for him to make a case on any issue as long as this question about the authenticity of his birth certificate remains unanswered. In fact, releasing the birth certificate that Obama released may have made worse his standing with the American people, and that will certainly be the case if a congressional inquiry discovers it has been tampered with or forged," Wenzel warned.

In addition to the billboard campaign and publishing "Where's the Birth Certificate: The Case that Barack Obama is not Eligible to be President," Farah has:

produced a video-documentary primer on the issue called "A Question of Eligibility";

produced a 40-page special report on the subject;

WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — Six months after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot, the White House is preparing to propose some new steps on gun safety, though they’re likely to fall short of the bold measures activists would like to see.

Spokesman Jay Carney said that the new steps would be made public “in the near future.” He didn’t offer details, but people involved in talks at the Justice Department to craft the new measures said they expected to see something in the next several weeks. Whatever is proposed is not expected to involve legislation or take on major issues, like banning assault weapons, but could include executive action to strengthen the background check system or other steps.

“The president directed the attorney general to form working groups with key stakeholders to identify common-sense measures that would improve American safety and security while fully respecting Second Amendment rights,” Carney said Thursday. “That process is well under way at the Department of Justice, with stakeholders on all sides working through these complex issues, and we expect to have some more specific announcements in the near future.”

Anti-gun groups have been disappointed to see no action so far from President Barack Obama, who supported tough gun control measures earlier in his career but fell largely silent upon becoming president. Some activists were using the opportunity of the six-month anniversary of the Giffords shooting on Friday to speak up.

The shooting rampage in Tucson, Ariz., killed six people and wounded more than a dozen others, including Giffords. Two months later, Obama wrote an opinion piece in Giffords’ local paper, the Arizona Daily Star, calling for “sound and effective steps” to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, including strengthening background checks. He wrote:

Most gun-control advocates know that most gun owners are responsible citizens. Most gun owners know that the word “commonsense” isn’t a code word for “confiscation.” And none of us should be willing to remain passive in the face of violence or resigned to watching helplessly as another rampage unfolds on television.

So far the president has done nothing and administration officials have signaled that no major steps should be expected, given the climate in Congress against gun legislation of any kind.

But, the president faces a tough battle when dealing with “gun control.” If he moves too far to the left, he risks launching an intense Second Amendment debate. However, if he simply ignores his former proclamations he faces alienating gun rights advocates. FOX News has more:

What remains unclear is just how far out on a limb the president is willing to go on gun control. If he goes too far, the Second Amendment debate could reach great heights as the president battles for his re-election. If he doesn’t go far enough, some in his base may view him as weak on gun laws.

Interestingly, CNS News reports that Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is taking a hardline against the Obama administration’s enforcement of gun laws. In the wake of the “Project Gunrunner” scandal, Issa has been a tough Obama administration critic. On Thursday, he said the following on FOX News:

“Under President George W. Bush, U.S. attorneys were even fired for not enforcing guns laws strictly enough.”

He went on to say that under the Obama administration:

“there seems to be a ‘don’t bother to enforce at all’ policy, so that disturbs us — that there’s less gun enforcement about illegal gun transactions under an administration that theoretically is more for gun control, and George W. Bush went out of his way to try to help the Mexicans by having a zero tolerance to illegal guns sales that could end up in Mexico.”

The uncertainty regarding what the newfound steps will bring isn’t stopping activists from pushing Obama. The group Mayors Against Illegal Guns, headed by Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, sent Obama a letter calling him to act. The Blaze recently reported on the group’s push for stricter firearm regulations.

“To prevent the next Tucson, we need a comprehensive background check system, which is what the president called for in April,” said the director of the mayors’ group, Mark Glaze. “That said, there are many steps the president can take on his own authority, without new laws, that could make a very real difference.” NPR highlights one of these proposed steps:

For example, military and federal agencies are required to report people with mental health and drug problems to the criminal background check system, but they often don’t. That’s something gun control advocates say the president could fix.

The mayors‘ group’s suggestions included enforcing reporting laws that could have stopped the Tucson shooter from getting a weapon.

Case seeking light on Obama SSN says privacy concern irrelevant

  A subpoena has been served on officials in the Hawaii Department of Health and the state's attorney general demanding access to the original "1961 typewritten birth certificate #10641 for Barack Obama." 

The attorney behind the case, Orly Taitz, told WND she is asking a court to compel compliance.

The California attorney contends the state's "privacy" regulations should be ignored, as Obama already has released what the White House purported to be a copy of the document to the public.

She has developed a case in Washington, D.C., seeking the original application for Obama's Social Security number, a document that could provide significant information about the president's early life that relates to his eligibility.

U.S. District Court Chief Judge Royce Lamberth recently rejected a defense concern over procedure in the dispute. Taitz said that moved the case into the discovery phase, in which she can issue subpoenas to those holding documentation she is seeking.

WND previously has reported on the issue that Obama holds a Connecticut-based Social Security number despite allegedly being born in Hawaii, starting his work career in the Aloha State, and never having lived in Connecticut.

 The first three digits of a Social Security number indicate the state of the applicant's mailing address. Obama's number begins with 042, which falls within Connecticut's range of 040 through 049.

The national news media have been virtually silent on this potentially criminal fact.

Indeed, when Fox News finally attempted to explain it, the news network broadcast false information and then scrubbed the report from its website.

When WND asked the White House about the issue, then–Press Secretary Robert Gibbs dodged the question.

Taitz' case is against Social Security Commissioner Michael Astrue explains that because of the numerous questions surrounding Obama's eligibility, his birth certificate and his other records, the Freedom of Information Act request was submitted.

Blog posting with plans for motion to compel

According to a report in The Post & Email, the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii had issued a subpoena that was served on the director of the Hawaii Department of Health this week.

The demand to Director Loretta J. Fuddy requires the "original 1961 typewritten birth certificate #10641 for Barack Obama … issued 08.08.1961, signed by Dr. David Sinclair, Stanley Ann Dunham Obama and registrar Lee, stored in the Health Department of the State of HI from 08081961 until now."

Taitz told WND the document was delivered to the state's attorney general as well, as he had dispatched a notice that he was representing the health department executive. She said the state might refuse to comply or argue in court that the subpoena should be dismissed, so she will ask the court to compel compliance.

In a statement today on her website, she explains, "The case at hand revolves around a … FOIA request for the original SS-5 application for CT SSN 042-68-xxxx, that Mr. Barack Obama is fraudulently using. According to his Selective Service certificate Mr. Obama is using this Social Security number … however Social Security administration states, that this number was never issued … Typically, individuals, who do not have valid birth certificates resort to using invalid Social Security numbers, therefore the birth certificate is at issue."

She noted that Obama released an image the White House said was a copy of his Hawaiian certificate, but many experts have assessed it as a fake.

"Plaintiff filed multiple requests for access to the original birth certificate, which is supposed to be on file with the Department of Health in Hawaii. Plaintiff received a response from the registrar of the Department of Health in Hawaii, Mr. Alvin Onaka, stating that he and Ms. Loretta Fuddy, director of health, will not provide access to the original, due to considerations of privacy. Plaintiff filed an appeal, stating, that there cannot be a consideration of privacy, as Mr. Obama already released the document in question, and it is available to the public at large on the web site WhiteHouse.gov. There is no genuine issue of privacy, as all the information in the document in question is public, but there is an issue of forgery, as multiple expert testimonies show the document to be forged," Taitz wrote.

The subpoena to the health department:

Jerome Corsi, Ph.D., and author of "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case that Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to be President," said he had been tipped off early in February that a long-form birth document for Obama had been forged and that the document was to be released.

"The information came from a mole within the Hawaii DOH who had been examining the vault logbook for months," Corsi explained. "Until just prior to February 24, no Obama long-form hospital-generated birth record could be found in the Hawaii DOH."

As WND has reported, there long have been concerns about the Social Security number.

"There is obviously a case of fraud going on here," says Ohio licensed private investigator Susan Daniels. "In 15 years of having a private investigator's license in Ohio, I've never seen the Social Security Administration make a mistake of issuing a Connecticut Social Security number to a person who lived in Hawaii. There is no family connection that would appear to explain the anomaly."

Does the Social Security Administration ever re-issue Social Security numbers?

"Never," Daniels told Corsi. "It's against the law for a person to have a re-issued or second Social Security Number issued."

Daniels said she is "staking my reputation on a conclusion that Obama's use of this Social Security Number is fraudulent."

"A person who wants to hide their true identity often picks up the Social Security Number of a deceased person, thinking that nobody would ever look into it," Daniels added. "I think it was sometime in the 1980s that Obama decided to hide who he really is."

There is no indication in the limited background documentation released by the Obama 2008 presidential campaign or by the White House to establish that Obama ever lived in Connecticut.

Nor is there any suggestion in Obama's autobiography, "Dreams from My Father," that he ever had a Connecticut address.

Also, nothing can be found in the public record that indicates Obama visited Connecticut during his high-school years.

An affidavit filed by Colorado private investigator John N. Sampson specifies that as a result of his formal training as an immigration officer and his 27-year career in professional law enforcement, "it is my knowledge and belief that Social Security Numbers can only be applied for in the state in which the applicant habitually resides and has their official residence."

Daniels told WND she believes Obama had a different Social Security Number when he worked as a teenager in Hawaii prior to 1977.

"I doubt this is President Obama's originally issued Social Security number," she told WND. "Obama has a work history in Hawaii before he left the islands to attend college at Occidental College in California, so he must have originally been issued a Social Security number in Hawaii."

The published record available about Obama indicates his first job as a teenager in Hawaii was at a Baskin-Robbins in the Makiki neighborhood on Oahu. USA Today reported the ice-cream shop still was in operation one year after Obama's inauguration.

In April, some 11 months after WND began publicizing Obama's Connecticut-based SSN, Bill O'Reilly of the Fox News Channel briefly addressed the issue while reading his viewer mail on the air.

But the news anchor falsely asserted the president's father lived in Connecticut.

In his viewer email segment April 13, O'Reilly was asked: "What about Obama having a Connecticut Social Security Number? He never lived there."

"His father lived in Connecticut for several years," O'Reilly claimed, adding that "babies sometimes get numbers based on addresses provided by their parents."

However, there is no evidence Barack Obama Sr. ever lived in Connecticut. He left Hawaii in 1962 to study at Harvard in Massachusetts and then returned to his home country of Kenya.

When WND publicized O'Reilly's error, the information vanished from the Fox News Channel's website and BillOReilly.com.

The BirtherReport.com website, responding to complaints by Fox podcast customers that O'Reilly's Social Security claim, broadcast on Fox, had gone missing from the audio archive, trumpeted the headline: "Busted: Fox News scrubbed Bill O'Reilly's 4/13 mailbag segment on Obama's Social Security Number reserved for Connecticut applicants." The site added, "Not only did Fox News scrub the podcast, they also left out the viewer email about Obama's Social Security number at O'Reilly's website. I report, you decide!"
