Are We Worthy of Their Sacrifice?

memorial military veterans soldiers kia america country serve sacrifice patriot war wwii
We thank our Veterans, yet on this Memorial Day weekend it seems so hollow to me. Too many lives have been destroyed, disrupted, and changed forever. I have never really felt like it touched my family, yet yesterday I started thinking about my uncle, a man I never knew because he was killed in action fifteen years before I was born. He was a son, a brother, cousin and friend to many. A man missed by all who knew him. A man who was taken from his family too soon.
Americans are divided when it comes to war, but our troops need our support whether or not you agree with the battles. Our young men and women sign up for various reasons; for our country, family obligations, educational opportunities, and to travel. American troops should have the best weapons in the world, the best leaders in the world, and they should only have to answer to the leaders of our country, not the United Nations. God bless Army Spc. Michael New who was willing to fight and die for our country, but not for the UN. Our current administration has made fighting a war like playing Russian roulette. May God protect our soldiers, because our resident in the White House sure isn’t making sure they have what they need.
So, I wonder are we sacrificing enough for our country? Too many Americans are wrapped up in their lives and won’t get involved. I am speaking only to those that aren’t involved when I say, “You don’t have to wear a uniform and belong to the military to serve your country”. Patriots across this once great nation are working, some non-stop, some sporadically. The point is, We Are Americans. We need to stand up and fight for our country and for all those that went before us, that fought and died for us. Don’t let their sacrifice be in vain.
On this Memorial Day weekend don’t forget that it’s not about the first camping trip of the season, it’s not about the first big BBQ of the year, it’s about our military men and women that gave their best and paid with their lives. Remember them, and please don’t let them down. Ask yourself, “Are you worthy of their sacrifice?” If the answer is no, don’t get depressed, get active! There is no lack of issues that need American voters to pay attention. If nothing else, go to school board meetings, supervisor meetings, etc. if someone is watching they tend to follow the rules a little more closely.
America is blessed to have men and women dedicated and willing to serve our country. We thank them and their families.

boot boxer vote register patriots calls grassroots
My husband Mike and I along with some fellow patriots looked for a battle that was close enough to push over the edge to our side. Mike found it with the East Bay area of California (we are North of there about 150 miles). Mike drove down there and picked up a Contra Costa Country phone book and we've started making phone calls. We are urging people to register to vote if they aren't already, and to vote against Barbara Boxer on Nov. 2nd. We are hoping many of you patriots will join with us, and make an overwhelming blitz on the East Bay area with calls. Please send us a message at mikemanmusic@gmail.com and we will mail you a sheet or two out of the phone book. We know this kind of grassroots action works, look at Scott Brown. The deadline for voter registration is coming at us very quickly, join the effort of putting a boot to Boxer's backside!
God Bless America!

Founding fathers and patriotism

Can any of you imagine the intensity of our founding father’s patriotism? I would say that no one since has even come close. To compare what we feel and what we are doing for our country; can it be the same caliber, the same all consuming need to protect our country’s freedom? To begin with, I would say most people believe that “we the people,” the ordinary Americans, are more patriotic than our elected government officials. And what of the non-elected government workers? How much patriotism do they have? How many of those government people would be willing to lay down their lives for America’s freedom? Our American Heroes are everyday American’s, from all walks of life. They are the men and women that make up our military, who are willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Times change and people have grown complacent, society has run amuck. The down hill slope is slick and dangerous. Is it too late? Can America’s grassroots movement to take its country back accomplish their goal? Absolutely! For the people who have been thinking the Tea Party movement would not last, think again! American Patriots are making a difference and we aren’t done! Rich or poor, black or white, short, fat, man, woman or child they are all a part of the movement. The only category we fit into is AMERICAN PATRIOT!!! We want adherence to the Constitution, we want fiscal responsibility, and we want the freedom to remain a free society with the opportunities to achieve financial stability and success, the right to pursue happiness, the right to LIFE for everyone. Our country was founded on God, the God who created us; and our government thinks they can remove God from our way of life? I shudder to think of the accountability for those involved in that process. What is the most important thing in our lifetime? To believe without doubting that there is but one true God, and that you ask for forgiveness of sin and receive salvation. After this is family, friends and country. We are a Godly people, yet we all are sinners. Not a one amongst us is without sin. We should not judge one another, yet it is our responsibility to uphold the law of our country, it is our responsibility to overthrow an unjust government. The battle must be won with ballots, not bullets. As we get ready to celebrate our Independence please don’t forget the men involved, the sacrifices they made, the risk to their lives and the safety of their families, the importance of their work and the freedoms they granted to the United States of America and it’s legal inhabitants. The 4th of July shouldn’t just be about picnics, camping and fireworks. Please make sure your children and grandchildren know who our founding fathers are, what they risked, and what they accomplished. Last but not least, every American needs to stand up and protect what our founding fathers did for us. How many of us would have walked in their shoes and did what they did? We as Americans owe it to our country, STAND UP, STAND STRONG, and DON’T BACK DOWN, WE ARE AMERICA! God bless our troops, and God bless our country.

Tea party patriots

tea party, patriots, political activist, replace congress
<!-- poster id: 54486913 -->
I would like to share my opinion on the recent movement and what I see as it's future. My wife and I belong to three such groups here in N. California. They are growing like crazy. All ages, all races, all concerned Americans. The meetings that we have, are not getting together to complain about our woes. We are working on specific issues in committees made up of the people who are interested in that cause or issue. We are studying the candidates, (local, state, and federal). We are educating ourselves for the battle ahead. This kind of activity is occuring all across our great nation. Who is running the show? No one. We have a lot of great people organizing groups and working hard for the movement, but no one person is the leader. It's a beautiful thing! As large as the tea party groups are becoming, this movement is even larger than that. This is a patriot movement. It involves millions of concerned, even downright scared American citizens. They are wide awake now and are paying attention. They may never attend a tea party meeting, or go to a rally, but they too are also self educating in preparation for the battle ahead. It is my contention that this movement is bigger than the union money, the election corruption, the NEA, the bias news media, and everything else that is in it's way. This movement of Patriots is going to replace all the bad actors in Washington DC, all state houses, and right down to the city council. The way I see this happening is, from here on out, the people will vet the candidates. We have the technology to instantly check voting records and research the candidates. Any important local or state election may be scrutinized by the whole nation. Consensus on the candidate will be found by watching the best candidate receive dollars and support from the entire nation in example; Scott Brown election. This is real grassroots. This nation has a mountainous amount of problems and issues that need to be dealt with. None of these problems are going to be solved with our current crop of politicians, therefore the goal is CLEAN HOUSE! God bless America.

This family loves and supports our veterans! I spent several years mulling over how to write a song to thank as many as possible. I am currently working on the studio version. It is going to be really nice. In the meantime here's the link to the video version

Lincoln quote

taking america back, government, lincoln quotes, constitution
"Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world." Abraham Lincoln
We American's are in the process of doing just this. Are we liberating the world? We are affecting the world, but most importantly we are taking back America, returning the Constitution to the halls of Congress. God, please bless our battle with victory!

Peter and John's response to the Sanhedrin

abortion, judgement, misplaced government support
In Acts 4:18 The Sanhedrin forbid Peter and John "not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus". I'm thinking Peter and John's response could apply to our situation with abortion and other things our government supports - Acts 4:19 Whether it is right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

Parental notification and some age requirements in the US
November 19, 2009 by Mrs. Mike
Comments (0)
parental notification, teenage abortions, age for purchasing alcohol, medical procedures for minors
My husband and I are Christians and Pro-Life. You would think that they go hand in hand wouldn’t you? Well, if that isn’t the case, some serious soul searching needs to be done. Jeremiah 1:5 (King James version) states, “Before I formed thee in the womb, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
I was listening to the Lars Larson show on Nov. 4th and he was talking about the Illinois law requiring parental notification when minors (17 and younger) seek abortion procedures. The law passed in 1995, has gone un-enforced because of a federal injunction, and now has been given an extension of a 90 day grace period that was initially issued in August.
Lars brought up the issue of minors needing permission from a parent for a tattoo, yet some people would like these young people to have a serious surgical procedure without permission from a parent or guardian. How many surgical procedures can a minor have without parental permission? Any of them?
Let’s look at some age requirements for teenagers.
The Youth Handgun Safety Act does have exceptions, but basically it is unlawful for a person to transfer a handgun to anyone under 18 or for anyone under 18 to knowingly possess a handgun. Under federal law minors under 18 are prohibited from possessing guns and minors under 21 are prohibited from purchasing guns from dealers. Unless regulated by state law, minors 18 and over are free to purchase through private sales. 21 states currently prohibit or regulate this option. Over 29 states regulate these sales through registration or licensing.
The legal age limit for purchasing tobacco products vary by states, anywhere from 15 to 21 with 18 being the most common. Here in California the age is 18.
Minimum age requirements in California for marriage is 18 without parental consent. WITH parental consent there is NO minimum age! (Please don’t think this makes it okay to marry off your 9 yr. old)
To exercise our privilege of driving a vehicle you need to be at least 16 years of age. Within the last few years they have added a few new restrictions about who can ride in the car within the first year of having your license (if you’re under 18).
In most states the age limit for drinking alcohol is 21. The legal age to sell alcohol is 18, and the age to serve is 21 with some exceptions.
If you are under 18 you can’t legally sign a contract, therefore it is unlikely that you can find a dwelling to rent or buy.
Surgery, including plastic surgery procedures on teens require parental consent if the teen is under 18. (American Society of Plastic Surgeons) All states allow the consent to be waived in the event of a medical emergency.
Most states allow treatment for sexual abuse or assault without parental permission. No states require parental consent for outpatient counseling for abuses of drugs or alcohol. Every state allows minors over the age of 12 to be tested for STD’s, without parental permission.
In 2002 a few states enacted the “mature minor” doctrine, which lets minors give consent to their own medical procedures if they can show they are mature enough to make that decision.
Just a few things to think about.
Mrs. Redneck
