Question on Religion in Relation to Country

March 24, 2010 by TheSipper   Comments (3)

I have been involved in politics for only a short period of time now, I started just before the previous presidential election. I would say I strongly support the constitution as it is written, and strongly believe that freedom is not bias by any means. I watch Glenn Beck just about every day, and the episodes I miss I watch on this website. My family in its entirety is Christian, however I am a Atheist. I have great morals, most of witch I have learned from many people in my life as well as developing myself.

My question is why is it that the general idea, as I see it, is that if you have no God in your life you have no morality? As well, why is it that in order to be a conservative and/or a constitutionalist, you have to be more Christian?

You don't have to be a Christian to believe in the value's of conservatism, but most Christians are ultra conservatives.   Here are a few videos that may or may not clarify why you need God.  A question about God is a way of seeking truth, I hope you'll find some here.  I have a web site called Reformed Fellowship, we believe in the orginal teaching of the Bible, not the modern watered down preaching of most modern Churches, that have no value in Christ because the Holy Spirit is not living within them.

I mean no offence and I hope non will be taken, I am simply trying to answer in the best way I know a question you have put forth,
