Articles on EOs

EO 13083 - This is Clinton's notorious EL to destroy federalism, meaning state's rights. This is a story for history. President Bush has NOT rescinded that destruction, a dangerous precedent. I, for one, do NOT buy the excuse that Bush does not know. Federalism means States Rights. They are disappearing, for whatever the reason.

EO 13083 Group of EOs - Many EOs were used to facilitate control.

Fiedor Report has excellent discussions on EOs under various names, and some of Clinton's EOs.

Read Fiedor Report #89, especially the essay by Craig Brown for more discussion on 13083.

Herbert Hoover may have been the president that set the stage for government by decree by making EOs law, setting the stage for FDR's notorious bureaucracy. Hoover hid the order inside a volumous budget bill, a time bomb tactic still in use. There should be a law against all that dangerous nonsense.

Many EOs can be accessed at the National Archives and Records Administration.

The Black Vault has interesting information. He used to have info on PD 25.
