Meg Whitman was on America’s Morning News today. After listening to her talk, I had the distinct impression that what we’re getting is another big government liberal. When queried about the illegal alien subject she danced all over the issue, saying that “Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law was not for California”. It made me wonder if she had ever read California’s statutes, like 634-b of the criminal code. Maybe someone should tell her that we have had the same laws on our books for decades.

Successive liberal state governments (like Jerry ‘Moonbeam’ Brown’s) have tied law enforcements’ hands, preventing them from arresting illegals for anything except violent crime, and turning them over to ICE agents and deporting them. These laws have been in existence for thirty years or more.

Whitman then moved on to say that she would ‘seal’ the border. Um, has anybody bothered to tell Megs that the Feds control the border? Sounds just like an Arizona problem doesn’t it? Maybe Whitman should talk to some of the ranchers in the Jacumba, Davies Station or Campo Station areas of the state she wishes to govern, who have to go around armed and in fear for their families.

She further said she would ensure that employers were severely punished for hiring illegal aliens and see to it that so-called ‘sanctuary cities’ would be punished and prevented from sheltering illegal aliens, such as the convicted felon who slaughtered Tony Bologna and two of his sons in that great outdoor sewer and illegal alien paradise, San Francisco.

Sounds pretty good in a general way, doesn’t it? Until you find out that she is broadcasting the diametric opposite message in Spanish on Latino language radio stations and on at least one billboard, which had been spotted and reported by a Tea Party patriot, saying “No on 187 and No on the Arizona immigration law“. In Spanish that would be called “hablar dando una de cal y otra de arena”. Speaking from both sides of your mouth.

Not that I think ‘Moonbeam’ is any bargain either. He made a hash of state government as Governor once before and then for an encore, as Mayor, turned Oakland into a veritable shooting gallery.
Abel Maldinado is out of the question as well… he’s not even a good crook… just a stupid ego-maniacal one. That leaves us with Meg, who thought that Van Jones (Oakland communist agitator) was the greatest thing since cream cheese. Not a great selection for Californians.

But, we cannot afford to stay home. If anything, we have to support Whitman as the best of several bad choices and then try and pressure her to do the right thing. Sounds like a familiar scenario for Californians, doesn’t it?
We booted Gray Davis to get Arnold, and we’re getting rid of him for…?

There were fifty seven Democrat Senators who would have stolen your right to free speech. Senator Upchucky Schumer, one of the more detestable examples of a stinking, slimy breed, conspired with the equally onerous and creepy Russ Feingold to craft the Disclose Act, which has been inspired and supported by that sterling personality, Barack Hussein Obama.

This piece of legislative legerdemain was purposely crafted to protect Democrat incumbents. The same DeMarxist cretins who are selling you, your country and your freedom down the road. Among other sleazy provisions, it was intended to muzzle the voice of the Conservative Patriot movement and the individual voices of free Americans, while allowing unions, political action groups and slush funds of money stolen from their members to function along with the ‘special exemption’ issued to the National Rifle Association, The Sierra Club and the AARP (I went into this at some length in my article of July 6, 2010. For those of you interested, it can be accessed through my domain archives at skipmaclure.us). I haven’t changed my mind about the NRA one iota and they will not receive one dime from me or my friends.

We defeated this fifth column DeMarxist assault on our freedoms. We defeated it by the narrowest of margins. It just illustrates how very dangerous the communists will be until we can defeat them in November, and somehow repel the kamikaze attacks of the lame duck Demarxist Congress.

Remember when then candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton screamed, “We reserve the right to criticize anyone” (she shrieked!)? I didn’t see her voicing her indignation to this bill. I guess it’s ok with her as long as it’s the voice of Patriots that are being silenced.
We must redouble our efforts to defeat this dark, monstrous conspiracy against our country.

Small private businesses, with 100 or less employees, account for 96 percent of all employers in this country. Now they, faced with more than 250 new punitive regulations which the DeMarxist Congress sponsored, fostered and passed, not having read any of the more than 2,300 pages of absolute bureaucratic bullbleep, are not going to hire under the threat of financial ruin. Welcome to Obama’s America.

Your TARP and ‘bailout’ money, much of which cannot be accounted for, is being used as a gigantic Democrat slush fund for DeMarxist political campaigns. Goldman Sachs took 4.3 billion dollars worth of your funds and distributed much of it to foreign banks.

Meanwhile, a harbinger of your future is playing out in Britain. The proverbially broke, horribly managed bureaucratic nightmare called the National Health Service is going to slash even basic services… which by any standards were already terribly sub-standard. So much for free health insurance.

Al Franken has announced, before an audience of 2,100(?) nutroots in Las Vegas, that a Republican victory in November “would bring a truly dangerous agenda”. Heck, Joe the plumber would draw five times that many people. The only thing I can see that might be dangerous is Franken’s mouth. Remember Freddie and Fannie, anyone?

Barack Hussein’s ‘leadership’ is so weak that he permits an organization responsible for treason, Wikileaks, to function as an open forum, while trying to stifle the first amendment rights of Patriotic American citizens. 91,000 documents classified as secret were permitted to be stolen and then leaked to news outlets. Every single person involved in this unspeakable crime should be cracking rocks at Portsmouth Naval Prison for 20 years.

We have a war about to break out in the middle east, fostered by our weak and cowardly president.

Whether from within or without, the Tea Party/Conservative message must not be permitted to be preempted by malcontents within the movement, or the minions of the DeMarxist press who have proven themselves to be enemies of freedom. With a scarce 100 days until the day of reckoning, we cannot be distracted from the task at hand.

Recently, there have been some stories out there purported to be from ‘leadership’ elements of some of the ‘Tea Party’ groups, claiming to speak for entire regions of Tea Party/Patriot activists. I don’t know who or what David Webb is or who he claims to speak for, but as far as I know he doesn’t represent any groups that I’m aware of. Furthermore, that he ‘expelled’ Mark Williams for a post in which he frames his article as a letter to Abraham Lincoln regarding racism… What!? I’ve written articles very much along the same vein… more than once. Are you going to try and bounce me as well, you stooge?

In my experience what Mark Williams was driving at is quite true. The ones who squeal racist the loudest are in fact the racists themselves. Having experienced it in my own life I know it’s out there, and it’s every bit as ugly as the racism that it was meant to defeat. There is only one goal for Tea Party activists and that is to see that solid Conservative Constitutional candidates are supported against the radical DeMarxist elements in our State and Federal governments, whose goal is the destruction of America as we know it.

We don’t need some self-important blowhard using our movement to get face time on the lame stream DeMarxist press. I monitor most of the major Conservative Patriot Movement sites on a daily basis… I see very little contention or disagreement out there. There is spirited discussion of ways and means to accomplish our goal, which is to wrest control of the Congress from the radical Socialists. Victory in November is our goal and our entire focus.

As far as the NAACP is concerned, they have reaped what they have sown. They have proven themselves to be highly racist. We don’t have to assert this… it’s fact! We have it on tape… it’s out of their own leaderships’ mouths on more than one occasion. To claim that the lapdog press and the racist administration gave them their marching orders, to turn around and try to assert that the Tea Party groups foster racism, is simplistic to the point of being sophomoric in the extreme. But then, it is the Barack Hussein Obama government we’re talking about.

I agree that every Tea Party member is a leader. Self-appointed leaders, claiming the leadership of others, lead nothing but themselves. But their ill-considered pronouncements can cause the rest of us a lot of grief.
Stay strong… stay united… stay free… be American Patriots!

Our nation reels from the economic and fiscal disasters created by Barack Hussein Obama’s Marxist redistributionist agenda. Unemployment reaches new heights as the government ‘stimulus’ programs record failure after failure, while at the same time Obama claims three million jobs created or ‘saved’, even as private sector economists show incontrovertible proof that well over four million jobs have been lost since the Anointed One took office.

Obama’s supporters are falling away like autumn leaves in a brisk wind. His lying prevarication hasn’t been lost on the world stage either. His limp-wristed pandering to countries who, if not our sworn enemies, are anxious to see us diminished… in which endeavor Barack Hussein is only too happy to oblige.

Obama’s unconscionable treatment of our allies, and his bullying of countries whose stand against totalitarianism has been nothing less than heroic, also has not gone unremarked. Little Honduras stands like a giant beside Obama’s treachery. Now, the fruits of his labors are coming to bear. The undoing of many a would-be tyrant has come by the unintended consequences of his own machinations.

Barack Obama’s weakness has spawned what has become the 21st century axis of evil. What passes for foreign policy in Obama’s DeMarxist administration has wedded two disparate, but equally evil, philosophies. The increasingly paranoid and unstable communist North Korea has threatened nuclear war against democratic South Korea and the US forces currently in joint military exercises.

Radical socialist (communist) Venezuela, under the Benito Mussolini look-alike thug Hugo Chavez, is currently ginning up a war with neighboring Colombia, a long time ally of the United States. In addition, Chavez is actively harboring and supporting international terrorism at the behest of the other members of the evil alliance, Iran and Syria. That radical socialism and extreme sharia would soon be at each others throats seems to have fallen by the wayside during this marriage of convenience.

Iran’s dash to obtain nuclear weapons and the constant drumbeat of threats against the State of Israel has been enabled by Barack Obama’s perfidy and treachery towards one of our staunchest allies. This has emboldened not only the schizoid radical islamists of Iran, but the normally timid Bashar Assad of Syria has been encouraged to new heights of military adventurism through its ally in Lebanon, Hizballah, a creation and tool of Iran.

Obama may find that he has sown the wind. But it is we, the free peoples of the world, that will have to deal with the whirlwind. Israel does not want to be seen as the country who initiates what is sure to be at least a regional conflict, but it may not have any other choices. They know, as I do, that Obama is a pathological liar and an extreme ideological Marxist.

They may soon come to the realization that, Obama and his leftist State Department’s admonitions and threats notwithstanding, they will have to go it alone against Iran before it is too late.

Ladies and gentlemen, we call your attention to the center ring. The daring young man and his spectacular apologetics, fresh from several world tours, has unveiled his domestic groveling to a ‘sista’ who had been grossly misunderstood by officials of her own Agriculture Department and White House apparatchiks, whose zeal for glossing over reverse-racial incidents against the white majority in the country had finally jumped out and bit them. Not since Barack Obama’s pathetic groveling in front of ‘Old Mexico’s’ third-world president have we seen a performance this lame.

The Barack Obama traveling freak show is putting on a strong performance of threatening North Korea with ‘sanctions’, and Hillary Clinton’s stern admonitions have scared them so badly that they’ve threatened nuclear war. Not only that, but Her Hillaryness has launched an assault force of diplomatic types on Iraq that are sure to terrify the enemy in waiting there. Of course, we’ll have to keep a brigade or so of American combat troops handy to protect their lame posteriors, but that’s what you get when ‘you speak weakness to power’… our weakness, their power. Hillary Clinton is showing herself to be exactly what she is… inept.
Meanwhile, John (Swiftboat) Kerry, who voted yes on every tax measure to come before the Senate on his watch, is cheating the State of Massachusetts out of 437,500 dollars in sales taxes and an additional 70,000 dollars in annual excise duties on the purchase of his new seven million dollar, seventy-six foot sloop, by beating it out of Massachusetts to Rhode Island, which repealed its boat sales and use tax in 1993. Maybe Mama Theresa Heinz pulled the strings on her purse closed.

This is the same John Kerry that’s petitioning the White House to grant a blanket amnesty to all Guatemalan illegals in this country… surprise. Smacks of his private negotiations with his Communist handlers during the Vietnam war, just prior to selling out his brothers in arms. John likes ‘secret’ negotiations. This is the same John Kerry that is ‘negotiating’ to tax the very life out of you, the American people.
Vice President Joe (shoe leather) Biden, the greatest tactical genius of our time (remember his clever proposal to divide Iraq into three countries?) has said “We’re done for the year”, as the rest of the country heaves a huge sigh of relief.

The country has descended into a 1.47 trillion dollar deficit for this year alone, even as the economy lurches and staggers closer to a double dip ‘recession’ and unemployment numbers soar. Barack Hussein Obama and his Demarxist clown college tout ‘green jobs‘ that only cost taxpayers $500,000 per job, while they spent twenty three million dollars on signs glorifying pothole-filling temporary jobs.
The march to November goes on. The closer it comes, the more virulent and dangerous the Marxists will become… possibly at their most dangerous, as even their own polling is starting to undeniably point to historic losses in the November elections. A lame duck DeMarxist Congress, populated by men and women of no principle or scruples, with absolutely nothing to lose between November 2 and January 1, 2011, could do incalculable harm.
Charles Krauthammer, whom I greatly admire, said in his article today that he didn’t think Democrats and Rinos on their way out would do such a thing. He feels that they are more principled than that. Geez, Charles… I don’t know. From your lips to God’s ears, and I do so hope he has the volume turned up.

Shirley Sherrod got her phone call from President Obama. I’m not quite sure why she was so eager to speak to him… she did not seem to hold him accountable for her recent predicament and, in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Sherrod stated that she did not want an apology from him or indeed expect one, given his position as President. Ms Sherrod has learned one thing – Obama only apologizes when overseas.

Barack Obama had no part in this affair, although the fallout has come back to sting him in the tail. A good leader is one that takes responsibility for the actions of his team. In that respect, he should have apologized for the hasty decision of his Agriculture Secretary, Tom Vilsack.
 
The amount of embarrassment caused to the Obama administration could be gauged by the obvious discomfort of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. If I didn’t know better, I’d have said that Mr Gibbs’ new shoes were pinching, as he shifted awkwardly behind his lectern.
 
This whole mess was created by the Department of Agriculture, the NAACP and one or more members of the White House staff. Shirley Sherrod seemed convinced that her termination orders were issued by someone in the White House. It smacks of panic at the prospect of another race-related media attack on the administration. As usual, the liberals are trying to distract the public from their own failings by trying to pin the whole, sorry state of affairs on conservatives. While it may be true that the original video was posted by Andrew Breitbart, to openly accuse him of racism and a desire to return to the days of slavery is unwarranted. Perhaps the CNN video was not shown in its entirety, causing the message to be misconstrued also?
 

By her own confession, Shirley Sherrod had not given the white farmer “the full force of what [she] could do”. A later part of her speech, omitted in the original video posting, goes on to explain that “working with [the farmer] made me see that it’s really about those who have versus those who have not. They could be black. They could be white. They could be Hispanic”. This does not detract from the fact that, initially, she had little inspiration to help a white farmer. It reminds me a little of someone who was once a Klansman and later regretted the fact. Of course, being a Democrat, his expression of guilt absolved him.
 
The most ridiculous part of this fiasco is the left stream media’s attempt to apportion blame to Fox News, implying that their coverage of the speech instigated Sherrod’s dismissal. A number of other network and cable stations covered the item before FNC gave it any airtime. While the video was on their website, it was also on YouTube. Naturally, YouTube is not regarded as a threat by the liberals. It’s owned by Google. Google and the White House?… well, you can draw your own conclusions.
 

It is fairly obvious that the left are targeting Andrew Breitbart, Fox News and the Tea Party Movement in an attempt to save what remains of their unpopular, discredited government. They know that they are not afraid to confront their accusations head-on, as proved when Breitbart offered $100,000 for evidence of the racist attack by the Tea Party.
 
To use race as a political tool is reprehensible. To accuse those who are innocent of racism is abhorrent. Those who use these tactics as a last-ditch attempt to save themselves from defeat should think about the potential results of their actions, for they are the ones who could turn back the clock and recreate mistrust between black and white.
 
The fact that Barack Obama is black is immaterial to the Tea Party movement. The fact that he is steering the country to socialism, economic and social destruction is relevant. We will oppose anyone that does not respect the Constitution and threatens the very fabric of American society – regardless of color. That is equality!

It’s a sad state of affairs, but the facts are undeniable… we no longer have a ‘Fourth Estate’ in this country… instead it has morphed into a subversive, secretive Fifth Column.

The term ‘Fourth Estate’ is used to refer to the press, a term attributed to Edmund Burke, an 18th century Irish statesman. Journalism has generally had a favorable reputation in this country until recently, deservedly or not.

Actually, a close look at the history of journalism in this country will reveal a picture of contentious partisanship and political bias. The print media always had huge impact on public opinion in this country, starting with colonial ‘handbills’ posted in public places, denouncing King George and his tax collectors.

With the advent of the linotype machine, print journalism was revolutionized and multiple-paged newspapers became common. With the introduction of news wires, information would flash from coast to coast in minutes.

Most journalists, from the late nineteenth century onward, prided themselves in their objectivity. This was especially true during the war years of the last century, although during World War Two news was censored to prevent vital information reaching enemy ears. There were just certain things you were not permitted to write about and most people understood the necessity of it.

During the Korean War, television journalism was in its infancy and reporting out of Korea was sporadic and sketchy. There was no network news and local television reporting was decidedly primitive by today’s standards. All of this had changed by the time we were engaged in the war in south-east Asia. The press gradually drifted from reporting the news to trying to influence opinion back home by coloring the information coming out of Vietnam and, in many cases, outright lying. Many Vietnam vets still feel that it was the press that lost the war for us. Notably, after the US forces withdrawal, North Vietnamese Commanding General Vo Nguyen Giap admitted that, after the Tet Offensive, his forces were on the ropes.

As an aspiring journalism student, I was to experience the leftward lurch of journalism instruction in college. Being a Marine veteran my views (and a penchant for investigative reporting on matters that made the school administration uncomfortable) often clashed with my leftist professors. That period, to me, was the beginning of the real decline of any semblance of objective reporting.

What we have today is something far more sinister. The term ‘fifth column’ was coined to denote a subversive element working to undermine a legitimate government. The so-called mainstream media of today is as far left as any subversive group has ever been. That their chosen weapon is the spoken word and not bombs means little, just as there is little to no objective truth in the Marxist garbage they spew at the command of their radical Marxist masters.

The silver lining here is that the internet has spawned the nemesis of the DeMarxist lapdog media. The new media has the DeMarxists and their servants in a quandary. They can scarcely open their lying mouths anymore without the truth being almost instantaneously disseminated around the globe. It’s made it very difficult to do business as usual… witness the plunging polling numbers across the board for Barack Hussein Obama and the cabal of Demarxist thieves.
Americans are getting the truth and the truth is going to set them free.

Newt Gingrich is a really well-educated, bright guy when it comes to history. However, he showed that he doesn’t understand the Tea Party Patriots or the New Conservative movement very well. In an interview with Sean Hannity, Newt suggested that the Tea Party groups should ‘reach out’ to the NAACP in their local areas.

I know I’m echoing Mark Levin when I say this but, like him, I disagree. First of all, Mark said that we, as the Conservative Patriot Movement, should be concentrating on one thing and one thing only… that is victory in November. I strongly agree.

The NAACP lost whatever thin credibility it had left when it started being the water carriers for MaoBama and his racist administration. The plantation bosses yelled and they jumped. What Newt doesn’t get is that we, the Conservative Patriots, didn’t start this little range war, but we damn sure can finish it.

Obama and his goons have been trying to pin the racist jacket on the Tea Party movements from the beginning. Most notably, when Nancy Pelosi led the Black Congressional Caucus through the tens of thousands of Patriots protesting the illegal and patently unconstitutional methods being employed by the DeMarxists to ram through a bill which the American people clearly didn’t want. Then, when they didn’t get the results they plainly planned for, they did the thing DeMarxists do best… they lied about being cursed and spat upon. With the national lame stream media ready and willing to carry the lie and amplify it, they trumpeted the racist accusations across the nation.

One slight problem… the new media was present as well. At least a score of detailed and accurate recordings were made from pretty much every angle. Not one of the supposed charges was substantiated, or even close to it. All of us new media news and editorial types closely examined every recording that emerged on the net. Not one thing was revealed. The supposed racial chants were noticeably absent from sound recordings as well. So much so, that Conservative journalist and editor Andrew Breitbart offered a one hundred thousand dollar reward for anyone who brought forth evidence substantiating the race baiters’ claims. Not one claimant has come forth to this date and that offer remains out there. Mute testimony to the bald-faced lies of the DeMarxists and their lapdog lame stream media conspirators.

Newt Gingrich’s assertions that the Patriot Movement should approach the NAACP hat-in-hand to make nice is reminiscent of the “establishment Republicans” that brought us the likes of Trent Lott and John McCain. If we are to win in November, we must focus on one thing and one thing only… victory.
Sadly, Newt is wrong on this. I really hope he doesn’t run in 2012. We’d be going backwards into political mediocrity.

The Obama, Reid, Pelosi triumvirate continues to rape and pillage its way through our already savaged economy… and the people of this country turn away from them in ever increasing numbers. The Republicans are already counting seats and congratulating themselves at their brilliance… not!

First of all, the Republicans have got to see to their own house. I wasn’t a bit surprised to see that pair of classic losers, Trent (let’s make a bad deal) Lott and Bob (I didn’t do it) Bennett come out of the cracks in the woodwork and feed us more of the establishment Repubic crud that got us here to start with. In particular, Lott pontificated that “We don’t need a lot of Jim DeMint disciples around here”…”As soon as they get here, we need to co-opt them”. It just shows that the ‘accommodation at any price and, by the way, when’s that cocktail party?’ crowd is still alive and well in the beltway. But that would account for that rotten smell.

Meanwhile, John (where’s my amnesty?) McCain and former Congressman J D Hayworth traded barbs in the first of their debates. The debate was officially a draw, but what was apparent was that Hayworth was well prepared and looked relaxed and comfortable. His upfront acknowledgment of the mistake he made, in flacking for government loans in an infomercial, went a long way towards taking the edge off of McCain’s attack. In return, Hayworth went down the list of McCain’s perfidy and hammered him on the amnesty for illegals issue. In my book, McCain should go for that one alone.

The Republican party has got to reconcile itself to the huge Conservative Patriot movement out there. It is the wave of the future. Gone are the days when the John McCains and the Trent Lotts of this nation can lie their way into office, and then promptly forget about their promises and their constituency and immediately go off doing as they damned well please. The Jim De Mints of this New Conservative party know the truth… that we are an informed and activist movement which will not tolerate ‘business as usual’.

It does appear that DeMarxists and the cabal in the White House are in for a shellacking of biblical proportions… if the Republicans are tough enough and savvy enough to prevent the DeMarxists from pulling a wholesale Barney Frank on them. We haven’t seen the likes of what they’ll be lining up to pull this November. The problem with the Republicans is that they’re so high-minded that every time they end up in a tight race, they seem to blindside themselves to the pantheon of dirty tricks that the Democrats have historically employed. First and foremost, they must remember that they are dealing with people without principles or scruples of any kind and must act accordingly.

Be prepared to have Tea Party activists at every polling place, to counter the union goons and thugs sure to be there. Have volunteers at every polling place, who have the courage to record and challenge irregularities. Do challenge the pathetic tough guys of the ‘New Black Panthers’ who, according to some observations, even intimidated little old black ladies who wished to vote for Hillary during the Democratic primaries. These punks think they’re tough? They don’t know tough… but there are hundreds of thousands of young, healthy Conservative vets out here that can teach them just exactly what the word means.

Sounds radical? Well, that’s exactly what we’re up against. While we’re sitting here jawing, they’re out there registering every gravestone between Colma, California and Maine. The Obama Feds have already refused to have the states purge the ‘dead wood‘ from their voter registrations.

This is the reason that we’ve been saying over and over that we don’t want political ‘nice guys’ out here. We want gutsy, bare-knuckle street fighters, who understand political warfare in built-up areas.
It’s what it’s going to take to win.
