On September 11, 2001 American Airlines Flight 11, from Boston to Los Angeles crashed into the north tower of the WTC, with 87 people on board, not counting the five terrorist hijackers. Mary Wahlstrom, 78 of Kaysville, Utah was traveling with her daughter, Carolyn Beug, 48 of Los Angeles. Reports say they had been to Boston dropping off Mrs. Beug’s twin daughters at a nearby college. Walstrom is reported to have 13 grandchildren. Beug was a force in the music business had also won acclaim for work on the Pocahontas film project. She was very active with her family and their school activities. They were on their return flight home.
